Banana Split
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 4 bananas
- 4 large scoops reduced fat vanilla ice cream
- ¼ cup crushed walnuts (these can be substituted with sultanas if your child has a nut allergy)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 C
- Cut each banana in half longways and wrap in alfoil
- Place on baking tray and bake for 10 mins until banana is heated
- Mix walnuts and brown sugar together
- Unwrap banana and place in bowl, spoon on ice cream and sprinkle with nut mixture
- Serve immediately
