Makes approximately 24 mini biscuits

Ingredients

  • 90g butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1 cup flake breakfast cereal (choose wholegrain varieties)
  • 1/2 cup sultanas
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate bits

Note: Use wholemeal flour to increase the fibre content

Method

  1. Combine butter, honey and golden syrup in pan and stir over a low heat until the butter melts. Cool for 5 mins
  2. Stir in the remaining ingredients until well combined
  3. Drop a dessertspoon of mixture onto a greased oven tray. Leave about 5cm between each cookie
  4. Bake in a moderate oven for approximately 12 mins
  5. Stand for 5 mins before removing from the tray
